Mountlake Terrace Community Senior Center
We all would like to live a very long, healthy life and remain independent until the end of our days. What can you do now to help prepare yourself, or someone you love, to navigate the uncertainties you may face? Come and learn with us! Listen to an Elder Care Attorney, a Home Care Advisor, a Senior Housing Referral Specialist and a Fiduciary as they share information we may want to consider as we plan our future.
Turn off 15th Ave NE at 160th. Go past the maintenance parking lot. Stop at the first parking lot
The hike is really more of a stroll... paths are wide and smooth... we can stay on the flats or try a few small hills. Trails circle around and back, so something for everyone.
Enjoy an afternoon break in the company of other NNN members at a local coffee shop. Join one of our host NNN members, grab your favorite beverage (and maybe a small snack) and come to our table to visit and get to know each other a little better.
Meet on Sunset between Bell & Edmonds St
Let's stroll the Edmonds waterfront. Enjoy the flower-full yards. Maybe wander further into the side streets if we feel like it. Plenty of space to stay distanced. New masks and face shields available to anyone who wants one.
Monday walks, Lake Forest Park's Horizon View Park. Good parking. Level path that makes a little under a mile circuit. If you come late, the group will be easy to find! Not crowded. Quiet. Some can come for one round, others can do more. When it is not cloudy, good mountain views.
Weekly check in with the Stronger Memory group.

Upper level, Third Place Commons

Want to nourish your soul and your stomach? Join host Ginger H and other NNN members and volunteers as we meet for lunch and conversation! Lunch locations will vary based on member and volunteer input. Want to be adventurous and try new places? Go for it! Want to stick to the tried and true? OK! No reservations needed. Everyone pays for their own meals and beverages. Lunches are open to the public.
BENEFIT FOR MEMBERS & VOLUNTEERS ONLY: In recognition of the rising costs of food and labor, NNN will provide a $5.00 cash supplement after the lunch to help offset the cost of the lunch.
Have questions? Please contact the lunch host. If transportation is needed, we encourage you to submit a request to services@northwestneighborsnetwork a few days in advance. We will do our best to get you there and back! NOTE: Some lunch locations may not offer outside dining. NNN continues to follow CDC and Washington State Health guidelines. Please be guided by your own personal health and safety choices about attending in person events

Lake Forest Park Civic Club
Let‘s celebrate together! Join fellow NNN Community members and volunteers for good food and conversation as we gather for a picnic lunch at the Lake Forest Park Civic Club on the banks of Lake Washington. NNN will provide the appetizers, salads, main dishes and beverages. Do you have a favorite dessert to share? Bring it if you‘d like. You‘ll have a chance to meet other members and our volunteers who support our community. Lunch will begin at 12:00. Come for the food, fun, conversation and maybe even a chance to win a small surprise gift if your name is drawn!
You must be present to claim your gift if you‘re a winner in the drawing(s).
Up to one guest may be able to come if we have space. If you want to bring a non-member/non-volunteer guest, please contact social@northwestneighborsnetwork.org. Your guest‘s name will be added to our wait list. You will be notified a few days before the event if there is space for your guest. Guest reservation requests will be handled in the order they were added to the wait list.
