Phase 3
What Does Phase 3 Mean to Me?
We're all excited that we've moved to Phase 3 of re-opening in our state, and with more people vaccinated, we look forward to more ways to connect with others. NNN will continue to hold our online Zoom connections and help out 1:1 with members (following the latest COVID safety protocols).

Are there new activities you would like us to add? New walking groups or meeting outdoors in your garden or favorite park? Contact NNN at

If you do want to get out and about more, read all of the latest details on the Washington State Coronavirus information website.

Vision
NNN New Board Members and Consultant
Did you know? We're busy behind-the-scenes adding to our team to help support our members and volunteers who help make Northwest Neighbors Network a growing community.

Tom Wilcox and Robin Fleming are our newest NNN Board members, and Elizabeth Ralston is our new Program & Outreach Consultant. All are helping let those in our community know we're here to continue to help seniors thrive in their own homes!

Feel free to send a "welcome aboard" note!

Need a Tablet to Get Connected to Events, Friends, Community?
NNN has loaner handheld tablets for you to use to connect to our online events, community events, and your friends and family!

If you keep meaning to find a way to connect with others, we have you covered. (Note: In order to connect to Zoom meetings or online content, you will need a WI-FI connection.) Maybe you want to get back to writing/journaling? Maybe read a favorite book to discuss in our Book Club?

We can drop off a tablet and give you a demonstration on how to use it.

With any of these devices, you can quickly learn how to log in to one of our Zoom events (using WI-FI to connect to Zoom video, or calling in to take part in the conversations):
  • General chat sessions every Monday
  • TED Talk topics every Thursday
  • Current Events every Friday
Contact Services@NorthwestNeighborsNetwork.org, and we'll have you set up before you know it. We can't wait to have you join in!

Podcasts--Something for Everyone!
Volunteer Marty Behnke loves listening to podcasts! Have you tried this? Marty finds many interesting podcasts to listen to through the website https://www.radiotopia.fm

Says Marty, “I love the podcasts 99% Invisible and the Kitchen Sisters and so many more. Podcasts are audio only, so they’re great for those of us who are radio story lovers.” When you click on most podcasts, you can listen to a few episodes to make sure you enjoy it without needing to subscribe to hear more.
