Subject: Status of NNN Services, News, & Events
From: Northwest Neighbors Network

We are sending this bulletin to let you know the current status of NNN services and activities in response to the COVID-19 threat.

For changes as they take place, please refer to the NNN Events page on our website.

CDC, King and Snohomish counties, and our city governments are currently advising the public to limit gatherings.  Specifically, people at higher risk of severe illness should stay home and away from large groups of people as much as possible, including public places with lots of people and large gatherings where there will be close contact with others. People at higher risk include people 60 and older.

The CDC advises that "this is a rapidly evolving situation and the risk assessment will be updated as needed."

In response to this advice, Northwest Neighbors Network is limiting our activities. Specifically, we are canceling events and tours taking place in public indoor spaces in the coming week.  We will continue to assess the situation and cancel more events as necessary.

We will continue to do what we can to support one another as long as it is considered safe for our volunteers.  For example, we have volunteers who are willing to drive members to appointments unrelated to COVID-19.  We are also available to do shopping runs. At this time, some of our small groups are also planning to meet next week.

For now, we are continuing to schedule our outdoor walks.  Please check the calendar on the day of the walk to see if this has changed.

Reminder: Daylight Savings starts this Sunday, March 8
NNN members, call/email if you want help setting all those clocks and devices ahead for Daylight Savings!
