We are so sad to share this devastating news with our NNN Community, and all the lives touched beyond. Our friend, Danie -- our compassionate advocate for bettering the life of every Senior she came in contact with -- is suddenly gone. Her family shared that she passed peacefully this morning. For anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Danie, you know how she lived her life to the fullest. Her passion for people in need was unbounded. She will be sorely missed by our community and her family and friends.

Danie was so excited to move to Washington in December of 2021, and to help launch our trusted NNN community of neighbors helping neighbors. She dove into topics ranging from creating and posting ads for new volunteers to sharing strategies gleaned from her past non-profit expertise during multiple planning sessions. Each step along the way, Danie was helping us identify how we could support people of all levels of need. Without her ideas and drive, we would never have built our community with such a strong group of compassionate volunteers providing hundreds of services each month. She's met and trained hundreds of community volunteers since she arrived, and each one is going to miss her smile.

Her family is at a loss, and shared her health challenges only a few weeks ago. They created a fundraiser to help with medical costs, and we share that here for those who wish to take part in remembering Danie and her legacy.  https://gofund.me/f555db7e
